Professional Recognition & Enhancement Scheme for Teaching

The Professional Recognition and Enhancement Scheme for Teaching (PRESTige), which now has its home in the CTI, has been designed to encourage colleagues to recognise and record their talents and apply for recognition against a national benchmark of professional standards in teaching (the UK Professional Standards Framework for Teaching and Supporting Learning in HE), leading to Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellowship. This is an internationally recognised badge of success and HEA Fellowship is portable across the sector.

Throughout the academic year there are a series of workshops for staff wanting to make an application for Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellowship or Senior Fellowship via the e-portfolio route.
