Learning and Teaching
The CTI is committed to forging a clear Westminster pedagogical culture and identity that is intimately related to the curriculum, enhances quality as well as driving innovation and continuous improvement. An example of this is the set of Westminster Pedagogical Principles, produced in consultation across the University, for which we are producing a series of tools to support exploration of these principles. The CTI also provides opportunities for professional development and learning in relation to learning and teaching across the University and recognises excellence in teaching. This work is supported by the learning communities being built by the CTI not only within the University, but also beyond, including with professional, business and cultural communities locally, nationally and internationally that will facilitate exchange, critical reflection, scholarship and pedagogic research and will provide opportunities for enhancing and sharing practice, exchanging resources, expertise and experience and for developing and promoting new ideas and innovation.
